KL Deemed-to-be University`s new record in placements indicate students poised for high-growth careers

Vijayawada : KL Deemed to be University, one of the leading universities in the country for graduation and higher education, has today announced that it has posted a 100% campus placement for its registered students this academic year. Over 4600 employment offers were made at the multidisciplinary university, a staggering 42% increase from the offers made in the preceding year. The university, which kicked off the placement season in high spirits, has concluded it recently, boasting prodigious interest from national and international recruiters. 

The University has achieved a new milestone in campus recruitments this year, with the highest offer of over INR 55 Lakhs, from a multinational Computer Software Company. The average salary package has also witnessed a significant uptick, from INR 6.4 LPA in 2021 to INR 9.7 LPA in 2022, witnessing a 50% increase. Among other national and multinational players, the prominent recruiters who have copiously roped in KL talent were Cognizant which made 714 offers; Wipro with 519 offers, TCS with 413 offers, Capgemini with 213, Accenture with 207, HCL with 203, while Deloitte made 104 offers to the students. The placement season showcased interesting trends in recruitment, with of graduates placed across Core, Management, IT, Product and Service sectors. Other eminent recruiters who have also joined the scouting race at KL Deemed-to-be University from IT, BFSI, Consultancy, E-commerce, Automobile among other industries include the likes of Adobe, Amazon, ServiceNow, Flipkart, HP, Hyundai, Vodafone, Airtel, BYJU'S, CISCO Systems, ICICI Bank, L&T, Goldman Sachs Inc., Infosys, Pegasystems, and Analog Devices and so on.

The university owes this tremendous increase in scouting interest to the novel strategy adopted in the past academic year, where students assume a year-long internship in their penultimate academic year as opposed to the normative semester long internship. On the achievement of the University’s record performance and the strategy behind it, Er. Around a dozen Industries connected across the globe with the university to enable us to provide the best-in-class exposure to students.”

Ms. Ashritha G., a student of B. Tech CSE, who hails from a middle-class family, bagged the highest pay package this year. She said, “I am grateful for the mentorship and the guidance our professors have showcased in the past year where we have noticed a career-intensive methodology at the university. The projects, certifications and internships directed by the university have certainly helped us in cracking the multifaceted interviews”.
