The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 74.48 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 38.59 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 93.00 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 87.97 per cent at Rs 1,247.69 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 663.77 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 93.35 per cent to Rs 1,106.15 crore from Rs 572.10 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 171.02 per cent at Rs 6.64 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 2.45 crore). Operating Profit surged by 60.83 per cent to Rs 155.73 crore as against Rs 96.83 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 14.46 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 4.66 per cent y-o-y to Rs 9.89 crore, while Taxation increased by 181.24 per cent at Rs 47.67 crore (Mar'21 Rs 16.95 crore).
