Jindal Stainless rises on supplying 300 metric tonnes of steel for B R Ambedkar statue in Telangana

Jindal Stainless is currently trading at Rs. 263.30, up by 3.25 points or 1.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 260.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 260.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 265.70 and Rs. 258.75 respectively. So far 54448 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 329.00 on 08-Mar-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 95.05 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 268.55 and Rs. 257.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 21664.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.26% and 9.46% respectively.

Jindal Stainless has supplied 300 metric tonnes of stainless steel for 125-ft tall statue of B R Ambedkar in Telangana. It has supplied grade 304 hot-rolled stainless steel (SS) in a thickness range of 12 mm - 32 mm. The SS has been used in the armature structure of the statue.

The statue is located on the banks of Hussain Sagar lake, in the vicinity of the newly built Secretariat, which has also been named after B R Ambedkar.
