The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 50.92 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 16.23 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 213.74 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 44.08 per cent at Rs 1,619.86 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,124.28 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 42.12 per cent to Rs 1,483.26 crore from Rs 1,043.66 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 27.53 per cent at Rs 6.81 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 5.34 crore). Operating Profit surged by 69.44 per cent to Rs 136.60 crore as against Rs 80.62 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 17.57 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 23.87 per cent y-o-y to Rs 33.32 crore, while Taxation increased by 467.40 per cent at Rs 18.10 crore (Jun'21 Rs 3.19 crore).
