Ion Exchange gains on reporting 22% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Ion Exchange (India) is currently trading at Rs. 528.60, up by 8.80 points or 1.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 519.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 519.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 544.00 and Rs. 519.85 respectively. So far 26617 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 609.20 on 25-Jul-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 150.07 on 29-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 609.20 and Rs. 517.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7760.86 crore.

Ion Exchange (India) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2023 (Q1FY24). 

Ion Exchange (India) has reported 23.36% rise in its net profit at Rs 38.39 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 31.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 22.18% at Rs 459.21 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 375.85 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 21.69% rise in net profit at Rs 33.32 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 27.38 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 22.81% at Rs 487.88 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 397.28 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
