Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Q4 net profit zooms 119.06% at Rs 142.63 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 142.63 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 65.11 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 119.06 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 31.35 per cent at Rs 756.71 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 576.11 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 26.83 per cent to Rs 567.43 crore from Rs 447.41 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 60.42 per cent at Rs 4.67 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 11.80 crore). Operating Profit surged by 47.07 per cent to Rs 189.28 crore as against Rs 128.70 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 11.95 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 3.05 per cent y-o-y to Rs 16.22 crore, while Taxation decreased by 101.03 per cent at Rs -0.33 crore (Mar'21 Rs 32.00 crore).
