Indian Hotels Company rises on inking partnership for skill centre in Jamshedpur

The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 319.15, up by 4.20 points or 1.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 314.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 315.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 319.95 and Rs. 315.00 respectively. So far 29039 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 348.70 on 06-Oct-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 180.75 on 07-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 319.95 and Rs. 307.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 45182.91 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.19 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.68 % and 16.13 % respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has entered into a partnership for a specialised skill centre in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in partnership with Tata Steel Long Products (TSLPL).

This program will train rural youths with a curriculum built around essential themes in the service industry. The first batch of 30 students with 85% women candidates, started their training at the Skill Centre located in the industrial area of Gamharia. The 45-day Bridge Program incorporates basics such as communication and personality skills, body language and grooming in the training program. Besides giving the students an opportunity to gain live work experience with industrial visits, it’s also offers a one on one career advice and counselling.

This partnership brings on board IHCL as the knowledge partner, Tata Steel Long Products supporting it financially and Head Held High Foundation (HHHF) as the implementing partner for this unique initiative to train the youth.
