HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 17048 on a positive note with 0.72% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering.
Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 62 points compared to the previous day premium of 65 points.
BankNifty closed at 39396 on positive note with 1.26% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 264 points compared to the previous day premium of 169 points.
FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 1815 and were Buyers in Index Option 20334 crores, Sellers in Stock Future 1419 crores.
Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 17343 crores.
In cash, FII Sold 282 & DII Bought 2052 CR
