HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 17498 on a negative note with 5.78% increase in the open interest indicating Short Build Up. Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 105 points compared to the previous day premium of 263 points. BankNifty closed at 40548 on positive note with 4.40% increase in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 241 points compared to the previous day premium of 263 points.
FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 683 and were Buyers in Index Option 7589 crores, Buyers in Stock Future 324 Crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 7073 crores
In cash, FII Sold 2023 CR & DII Bought 2232 CR
