HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 17622 on a positive note with 3.27% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering. Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 65 points compared to the previous day premium of 76 points. BankNifty closed at 41142 on Positive note with 17.27% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 143 points compared to the previous day premium of 201 points.
FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 2789 and were Buyers in Index Option 9507 crores, Buyers in Stock Future 561 crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 12621 crores
In cash, FII Bought 807 & DII Sold 947 CR
