IndiGo inches up on operating 11 special flights from Imphal between May 6-9

Interglobe Aviation is currently trading at Rs. 2215.00, up by 6.85 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 2208.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2215.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2222.00 and Rs. 2204.00 respectively. So far 2049 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2235.95 on 03-May-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1513.30 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2235.95 and Rs. 2129.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 85134.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.93% and 2.21% respectively.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has operated 9 flights from Imphal between May 6 and May 8, 2023 to increase capacity for travel to Kolkata, Guwahati, Agartala, and Hyderabad. The airline will add 2 additional flights on May 9, 2023 from Imphal to Patna and Kolkata. IndiGo is operating these flights with A320 and ATR aircraft.

The airline continues to operate regular flights from Imphal to Kolkata, Delhi, Dibrugarh, Agartala and Shillong. IndiGo also waived off the rescheduling and cancellation charges on all flights to and from Imphal from May 4 to May 11, 2023. The airline is closely liaising with the authorities to offer further additional flights as needed.

These additional flights provided more options to people to travel out of Manipur while keeping the fares affordable. IndiGo remains committed to responding to the critical humanitarian need of the hour, enabling the safe return of the stranded citizens back to their families.
