IL&FS Engineering posts Q4 net loss of Rs 350.64 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 350.64 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 182.51 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 33.79 per cent at Rs 96.98 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 146.47 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 30.82 per cent to Rs 229.10 crore from Rs 331.16 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 16.85 per cent at Rs 32.11 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 27.48 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 25.65 per cent to Rs -132.12 crore as against Rs -177.70 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 12.29 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 84.23 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.34 crore
