The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 2,140.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 64.33 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 3227.28 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 73.29 per cent at Rs 165.25 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 618.77 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 65.86 per cent to Rs 165.86 crore from Rs 485.85 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 222.77 per cent at Rs 74.56 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 23.10 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 100.46 per cent to Rs -0.61 crore as against Rs 132.93 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 101.72 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 60.11 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.64 crore, while Taxation decreased by 39.32 per cent at Rs 19.26 crore (Mar'21 Rs 31.74 crore).
