The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 21.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 22.73 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 6.69 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 47.43 per cent at Rs 833.79 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 565.54 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 49.32 per cent to Rs 785.30 crore from Rs 525.92 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 35.15 per cent at Rs 1.90 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 2.93 crore). Operating Profit surged by 22.39 per cent to Rs 48.49 crore as against Rs 39.62 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 16.98 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 56.37 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.04 crore, while Taxation increased by 272.67 per cent at Rs 5.59 crore (Mar'21 Rs 1.50 crore).
