Healthcare stocks jump amid recent spike in cases of COVID-19 in some countries
Shares of the healthcare service providers are trading higher, as Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya chaired a high-level meeting to review the COVID-19 situation in India and preparedness of public health system for surveillance, containment and management of COVID-19 in view of the recent spike in cases of COVID-19 in some countries.
Metropolis Healthcare is currently trading at Rs. 1370.80, up by 89.10 points or 6.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 1281.70 on the BSE.
Dr. Lal Pathlabs is currently trading at Rs. 2429.10, up by 141.40 points or 6.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 2287.70 on the BSE.
Thyrocare Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 702.75, up by 93.15 points or 15.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 609.60 on the BSE.
