The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 57.14 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 7.96 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 617.84 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 23.89 per cent at Rs 1,568.87 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,266.38 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 20.17 per cent to Rs 1,379.69 crore from Rs 1,148.07 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 139.27 per cent at Rs 1.50 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs -3.82 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 59.91 per cent to Rs 189.19 crore as against Rs 118.31 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 29.12 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 5.13 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.44 crore, while Taxation increased by 5023.73 per cent at Rs 30.23 crore (Mar'20 Rs 0.59 crore).
