HFCL wins order ~Rs.221.95 Crores for supply of Point to Point Unlicensed Band Radios (UBRs) and Optical Fiber Cables (OFC)
New Delhi: HFCL Limited, India’s leading technology enterprise offering communication network solutions for Telcos, Railways, and Defence sectors announced its new order win worth ?221.95 crores for providing 700 Mbps and 1 Gbps Point-to-point Unlicensed Band Radios (UBRs) and Optical Fiber Cables (OFC).
As part of the purchase order, HFCL will be supplying 700 Mbps and 1 Gbps point-to-point Unlicensed Band Radios (UBR) to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited. The UBRs order worth ~Rs.42.71 Crores has to be executed by July 2023. Operating within the unlicensed 5 GHz spectrum, these UBRs achieve a maximum throughput up to 1 Gbps, making them ideal for high-capacity enterprise applications and use cases such as smart cities and critical infrastructure, including electricity distribution grids and power plants. These feature-rich, enterprise/ carrier-grade products also provide a very high ROI for Internet Service Providers (ISP) and Telecom Service Providers (TSP).
Additionally, HFCL will be offering various types of Optical Fiber Cables worth ~Rs.179.24 Crores to Reliance Projects & Property Management Services Limited by October 2023. HFCL aims to utilize its advanced telecom products and solutions in contributing significantly to India's digital transformation journey.
