HDFC trades higher on the bourses

Housing Development Finance Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 2180.65, up by 13.25 points or 0.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 2167.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2173.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2193.00 and Rs. 2169.60 respectively. So far 11198 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3021.10 on 15-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2026.55 on 17-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2262.60 and Rs. 2161.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 396933.41 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 88.91%, while Non-Institutions held 11.09%.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) is all set to launch an issue of bonds on a private placement basis on July 15, 2022 to raise up to Rs 5,000 crore. The secured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) will bear interest rate at 7.77 per cent, payable annually and has a tenor of 4 years 11 months and 10 days. The issue size is of Rs 2,500 crore with an option to retain oversubscription of Rs 2,500 crore.

HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
