HDFC Bank trades higher as its advances rise 15% in Q2FY22
HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1595.65, up by 10.35 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 1585.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1586.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1597.55 and Rs. 1577.00 respectively. So far 147819 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,650.00 on 24-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1110.65 on 05-Oct-2020.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1606.90 and Rs. 1565.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 883223.58 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 25.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 61.01% and 13.10% respectively.
HDFC Bank’s advances aggregated to approximately Rs 11,985 billion as of September 30, 2021 (Q2FY22), a growth of around 15.4% over Rs 10,383 billion as of September 30, 2020 and a growth of around 4.4% over Rs 11,477 billion as of June 30, 2021. The Bank’s deposits aggregated to around Rs 14,060 billion as of September 30, 2021, a growth of around 14.4% over Rs 12,293 billion as of September 30, 2020 and a growth of around 4.5% over Rs 13,458 billion as of June 30, 2021.
Retail deposits grew by around 17.5% over September 30, 2020 and around 4.0% over June 30, 2021; wholesale deposits grew by around 2.0% over September 30, 2020 and around 5.5% over June 30, 2021. The Bank’s CASA deposits aggregated to around Rs 6,580 billion as of September 30, 2021, a growth of around 28.6% over Rs 5,115 billion as of September 30, 2020 and growth of around 7.6% over Rs 6,118 billion as of June 30, 2021. The Bank’s CASA ratio stood at around 47% as of September 30, 2021, as compared to 41.6% as of September 30, 2020 and 45.5% as of June 30, 2021.
