HDFC Bank gains as its advances rise 16% in Q3FY22
HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1522.95, up by 3.25 points or 0.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 1519.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1519.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1527.55 and Rs. 1508.00 respectively. So far 174999 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1724.30 on 18-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1342.00 on 28-Jan-2021.

HDFC Bank’s advances have aggregated to around Rs 12,600 billion as of December 31, 2021(Q3FY22), a growth of around 16.4% over Rs 10,823 billion as of December 31, 2020 and a growth of around 5.1% over Rs 11,988 billion as of September 30, 2021. The Bank’s deposits have aggregated to around Rs 14,460 billion as of December 31, 2021, a growth of around 13.8% over Rs 12,711 billion as of December 31, 2020 and a growth of around 2.8% over Rs 14,063 billion as of September 30, 2021.
Retail deposits grew by around 17.0% over December 31, 2020 and around 4.0% over September 30, 2021; wholesale deposits grew by around 1.0% over December 31, 2020 and were lower by around 1.5% over September 30, 2021.
The Bank’s CASA deposits aggregated to around Rs 6,810 billion as of December 31, 2021, a growth of around 24.6% over Rs 5,467 billion as of December 31, 2020 and a growth of around 3.5% over Rs 6,582 billion as of September 30, 2021. The Bank’s CASA ratio stood at around 47% as of December 31, 2021, as compared to 43.0% as of December 31, 2020 and 46.8% as of September 30, 2021.
