Gravita India surges on reporting 15% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Gravita India is currently trading at Rs. 360.10, up by 2.75 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 357.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 355.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 364.95 and Rs. 353.55 respectively. So far 21823 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 398.20 on 03-Feb-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 189.25 on 23-Nov-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 387.50 and Rs. 346.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2501.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.98% and 26.01% respectively.

Gravita India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.

The company has reported a rise of 43.87% in its net profit at Rs 16.43 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 11.42 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 32.20% at Rs 623.32 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 471.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 15.36% in its net profit at Rs 44.98 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 38.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 25.32% at Rs 689.61 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 550.26 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
