Goldstone Technologies touches roof on completing acquisition of Equitas Technologies

Goldstone Technologies is currently trading at its upper circuit limit of Rs. 46.70, up by 2.20 points or 4.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 44.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 46.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 46.70 and Rs. 45.85 respectively. So far 4075 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 117.80 on 10-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 12.05 on 20-Jul-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 47.00 and Rs. 43.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 161.50 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.11% and 46.01% respectively.

Goldstone Technologies has completed the acquisition of Equitas Technologies (ETPL) (popularly known as Wow trucks) by acquiring the equity shares from Equitas Holdings in terms of the Share Purchase Agreement and other related documents which were executed between the company, Equitas Technologies and Equitas Holdings. Therefore, pursuant to the acquisition of 2,49,99,999 equity shares (99.62% stake) by the company from Equitas Holdings, and balance 96,000 equity shares (0.38% stake) from an Individual shareholder MVP Mohan Sharma, Equitas Technologies has become Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of the company i.e. Goldstone Technologies.

The acquisition will help the company in its foray into the e-commerce and fintech space as Equitas Technologies is an existing aggregator of trucks/logistics provider having substantial presence in Southern India region with 30,000 plus registered users. Post this acquisition, the company is planning to introduce electric vehicle fleet into the portal and also providing finance solutions for the fleet owners through tie ups with NBFCs/Financing organizations under one umbrella.
