The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 108.73 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 100.91 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 7.75 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 6.67 per cent at Rs 489.87 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 524.90 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 5.86 per cent to Rs 343.10 crore from Rs 364.45 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 137.84 per cent at Rs 9.49 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 3.99 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 8.53 per cent to Rs 146.77 crore as against Rs 160.45 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 2.00 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 99.32 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.14 crore, while Taxation increased by 10.16 per cent at Rs 37.51 crore (Jun'21 Rs 34.05 crore).
