Generic Engineering jumps on bagging new work order worth Rs 80.80 crore

Generic Engineering Construction & Projects is currently trading at Rs. 59.00, up by 1.40 points or 2.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 57.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 60.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 61.00 and Rs. 58.05 respectively. So far 4270 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 71.65 on 03-Mar-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 39.00 on 19-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 61.00 and Rs. 54.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 252.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.51%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.02% and 39.47% respectively.

Generic Engineering has bagged new work order worth Rs 80.80 crore (including GST) for various institutional projects from new reputed clients, which inter alia includes Residential project based in Panvel worth Rs 44.68 crore (plus GST) from Cityopia Ventures and Special Project for Structural Construction of replica of 12 Jyotrilings (Shiv Dham Phase I) at Kangnidar (Mandi), Himachal Pradesh amounting to Rs 36.12 crore from Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. With receipt of above, the total current outstanding order book stands at Rs 1288.58 crore.
