HFCL rises on bagging order worth Rs 282.61 crore

HFCL is currently trading at Rs. 57.49, up by 0.93 points or 1.64% from its previous closing of Rs. 56.56 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 56.57 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 57.75 and Rs. 56.42 respectively. So far 176005 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 88.80 on 09-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 51.55 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 62.68 and Rs. 55.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7792.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.24%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.16% and 51.60% respectively.

HFCL has bagged an order worth around Rs 282.61 crore from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC), for Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Telecommunication Systems for Surat Metro Rail Project Phase-I. The order is to be executed within ninety weeks from the date of Contract. Thereafter, the company has to provide warranty support for one hundred ten weeks.

HFCL is a leading telecom infrastructure developer, system integrator and manufacturer of high-end telecom equipment and optical fibre cables, having its own manufacturing facilities at Solan and Goa, and its subsidiary i.e. HTL facilities in Chennai and Hosur.
