The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 58.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 49.69 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 16.72 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 12.67 per cent at Rs 398.83 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 456.69 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 14.42 per cent to Rs 361.30 crore from Rs 422.18 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 3.52 per cent at Rs 50.93 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 52.79 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 8.78 per cent to Rs 37.54 crore as against Rs 34.51 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 24.47 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 720.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.17 crore, while Taxation increased by 5.50 per cent at Rs 20.54 crore (Mar'20 Rs 19.47 crore).
