The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 20.35 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 31.48 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 35.36 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 20.26 per cent at Rs 228.54 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 190.04 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 37.48 per cent to Rs 189.34 crore from Rs 137.72 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 56.58 per cent at Rs 1.19 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.76 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 25.08 per cent to Rs 39.20 crore as against Rs 52.32 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 37.70 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 112.89 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.13 crore, while Taxation decreased by 40.79 per cent at Rs 7.36 crore (Mar'21 Rs 12.43 crore).
