Fertilizer stocks zoom as government increases fertilizer subsidy for FY22 by Rs 14,775 crore
Fertilizer stocks were trading higher as government has decided to increase the fertilizer subsidy outlay for the year by 14,775 crore. This will take the fertilizer subsidy outlay for 2021-22 to Rs 94,305 crore from a budgeted outlay of Rs 79,530 crore.
Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals is currently trading at Rs. 292.80, up by 7.95 points or 2.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 284.85 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 300.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 310.00 and Rs. 291.50 respectively.
Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers is currently trading at Rs. 84.90, up by 4.05 points or 5.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 80.85 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 85.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 87.75 and Rs. 84.20 respectively. So far 1412361 shares were traded on the counter.
Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 298.55, up by 10.40 points or 3.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 288.15 on the BSE.
