FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 4 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net sellers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3319.95 crore against gross selling of Rs 3576.23 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 256.28 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 496.25 crore against gross selling of Rs 1329.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 832.99 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.34 crore against gross selling of Rs 4.98 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4.64 crore in hybrid segment.
