FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 25 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5622.73 crore against gross selling of Rs 9521.92 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3899.19 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1113.93 crore against gross selling of Rs 80.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1033.47 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 14.21 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2.69 crore in hybrid segment.
