FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 12 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net sellers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6801.56 crore against gross selling of Rs 10206.47 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3404.91 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 682.13 crore against gross selling of Rs 740.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 57.91 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5.70 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4.48 crore in hybrid segment.
