FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per February 28 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6251.41 crore against gross selling of Rs 10685.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4433.96 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 657.29 crore with gross sales of Rs 119.96 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 537.33 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2.58 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9.27 crore in hybrid segment.
