FIIs stood as net seller in equities as per May 17 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net seller in equity segment, while net buyer in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5812.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 8294.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net seller of Rs 2482.16 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 675.24 crore with gross sales of Rs 553.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyer of Rs 121.88 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13.24 crore against gross selling of Rs 33.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net seller of Rs 20.46 crore in hybrid segment.
