FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 29 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4855.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 3225.22 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1629.79 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 98.41 crore with gross sales of Rs 912.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 814.04 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3.74 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 7.44 crore in hybrid segment.
