FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 22 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7008.56 crore against gross selling of Rs 5476.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1532.00 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 211.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 206.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5.29 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.79 crore against gross selling of Rs 3.52 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 23.27 crore in hybrid segment.
