FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 19 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8278.02 crore against gross selling of Rs 4820.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3457.21 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 508.32 crore against gross selling of Rs 419.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 88.97 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 247.18 crore against gross selling of Rs 1201.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 953.86 crore in hybrid segment.
