DCM Shriram moves up on the bourses

DCM Shriram is currently trading at Rs. 952.15, up by 6.75 points or 0.71 % from its previous closing of Rs. 945.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 915.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 952.15 and Rs. 914.35 respectively. So far 3656 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1263.85 on 28-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 644.00 on 26-May-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1076.20 and Rs. 895.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14742.78 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.52 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.91 % and 21.54 % respectively.

DCM Shriram has received an approval from the Board of Directors for an equity investment of up to Rs. 65 crore for minimum 26% equity stake in a Special Purpose Vehicle to be created for setting up a Wind Solar Hybrid renewable power project. DCM Shriram will get around 50 MW of Renewable Power supply (around 25 MW round the clock) from the SPV.

The Board also approved an investment of up to Rs. 57.10 crore to manufacture Sulphate of Potash (K2SO4) with a capacity of 4,600 TPA at its Hariawan (U.P.) sugar facility. The objective is to optimize the circular economy and derive value from by-products.

DCM Shriram is engaged in the business of fertilizer, sugar and caustic soda.
