FIIs stood as net buyer in equities as per May 21 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyer in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8187.35 crore against gross selling of Rs 7963.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyer of Rs 223.55 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 792.92 crore with gross sales of Rs 687.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyer of Rs 105.14 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 75.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net seller of Rs 54.95 crore in hybrid segment.
