FIIs stood as net buyer in equities as per August 18 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyer in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11335.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 9408.76 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyer of Rs 1926.70 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1128.69 crore against gross selling of Rs 330.42 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyer of Rs 798.27 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4.02 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net seller of Rs 15.08 crore in hybrid segment.
