The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 226.34 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 125.42 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 80.47 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 56.83 per cent at Rs 3,899.38 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,486.40 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 57.82 per cent to Rs 3,512.74 crore from Rs 2,225.80 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 112.48 per cent at Rs 32.19 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 15.15 crore). Operating Profit surged by 48.37 per cent to Rs 386.64 crore as against Rs 260.60 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 5.34 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 41.67 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.37 crore, while Taxation increased by 99.97 per cent at Rs 77.05 crore (Jun'21 Rs 38.53 crore).
