Eicher Motors surges after its JV reports 19% rise in sales in February
Eicher Motors is currently trading at Rs. 2581.00, up by 24.65 points or 0.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 2556.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2582.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2585.00 and Rs. 2530.05 respectively. So far 48684 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3035.50 on 22-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1246.00 on 07-Apr-2020.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2600.00 and Rs. 2400.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 70187.20 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.24%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.39% and 12.37% respectively.
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture (JV), has reported a 19 per cent increase in sales for February at 5,457 units. The company had sold 4,586 units in February 2020.
