EIH trades higher on turning black in Q2

EIH is currently trading at Rs. 189.55, up by 1.10 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 188.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 188.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 191.25 and Rs. 188.20 respectively. So far 11835 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 205.45 on 07-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 116.05 on 27-Dec-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 197.20 and Rs. 186.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11869.41 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.74%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.05% and 46.21% respectively.

EIH has reported net profit of Rs 27.20 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2022 as against net loss of Rs 50.39 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the company increased by 69.13% to Rs 367.50 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 217.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit of Rs 26.48 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2022 as against net loss of Rs 34.22 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 69.73% to Rs 417.01 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 245.69 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
