Dr. Reddy's Labs Q4 net profit up 34.74% at Rs 419.70 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 419.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 311.50 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 34.74 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.39 per cent at Rs 3,631.90 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,350.70 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 9.13 per cent to Rs 2,998.80 crore from Rs 2,747.80 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 40.56 per cent at Rs 114.70 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 81.60 crore). Operating Profit surged by 11.11 per cent to Rs 669.90 crore as against Rs 602.90 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 2.50 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 24.85 per cent y-o-y to Rs 12.70 crore, while Taxation increased by 1.10 per cent at Rs 147.00 crore (Mar'21 Rs 145.40 crore).
