Turmeric
Turmeric trading range for the day is 8076-8408.
Turmeric dropped as demand declined at higher levels and arrivals increased in Nizamabad and Erode.
In Nizamabad Mandi, there has been no change in the prices of all varieties of turmeric and 25,000 bags of turmeric were arrived.
Pressure also seen as no demand for shipments at current prices of around ₹9,000 and export prospects of turmeric have been affected.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7605.9 Rupees gained 3.55 Rupees.
Jeera
Jeera trading range for the day is 14650-15100.
Jeera prices gained due to lower production and yields in Rajasthan and Gujarat coupled with strong export prospects.
FISS in its crop projection for 2020-21, has estimated a 10.6 per cent drop in cumin seed output at 4.79 lakh tonnes
The yield is likely to be poor due to climatic adversities in the growing regions.
In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -40.6 Rupees to end at 14241.2 Rupees per 100 kg.
Dhaniya
Dhaniya trading range for the day is 7042-7242.
Dhaniya prices dropped on profit booking amid an improvement in weather conditions, with more arrivals in mandis.
However, downside seen limited as exporters were active in the mandis of Ramganj and Kota for more purchases made for the Gulf countries.
As per estimates, the final production estimate of Coriander seed for marketing year (MY) 2020-21 is coming between 2.6-2.8 lakh metric tonne
In Kota spot market in Rajasthan the prices gained 2.1 Rupees to end at 7125.85 Rupees per 100 kg.
