Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Q4 net profit up 8.98% at Rs 55.58 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 55.58 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 51.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 8.98 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 75.12 per cent at Rs 856.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 488.80 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 100.57 per cent to Rs 725.18 crore from Rs 361.56 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 40.98 per cent at Rs 16.48 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 11.69 crore). Operating Profit surged by 2.81 per cent to Rs 130.82 crore as against Rs 127.24 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 41.30 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 15.10 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8.66 crore, while Taxation increased by 104.58 per cent at Rs 53.11 crore (Mar'21 Rs 25.96 crore).
