DCM Shriram moves up on getting nod to make further investment in its subsidiary
DCM Shriram is currently trading at Rs. 1045.45, up by 13.20 points or 1.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 1032.25 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1049.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1057.05 and Rs. 1032.20 respectively. So far 304 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1263.85 on 28-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 855.50 on 24-Aug-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1075.00 and Rs. 1011.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16302.99 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.84% and 21.64% respectively.
DCM Shriram has received approval to make the further investment of upto Rs 70 crore in subsidiary company -- DCM Shriram Bio EnChem by way of capital investments in one or more form of securities in one or more tranches. The company has also received approval to carry out the manufacture Sulphate of Potash (K2SO4) project through its subsidiary company -- DCM Shriram Bio EnChem. The Board of directors of the company at its meeting held on August 18, 2022 has approved the same.
DCM Shriram is engaged in the business of fertilizer, sugar and caustic soda.
