Tata Power moves up as its arm launches off-grid solar solutions in West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand
Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 222.25, up by 1.55 points or 0.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 220.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 221.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 223.00 and Rs. 221.05 respectively. So far 179604 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.00 on 07-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 190.00 on 20-Jun-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 223.00 and Rs. 216.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 70521.14 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.12% and 28.01% respectively.
Tata Power's EPC arm --Tata Power Solar Systems (TPSSL) has launched off-grid solar solutions in West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand. The off grid solutions provide a combination of high-efficient solar modules, inverters and batteries and are available in 11 variants ranging from 1 - 10 Kw with 5 year warranty.
The solution offered by the company are engineered to provide an efficient integrated power system to consumers for their power backup requirements in times of grid supply shortages. These solar off-grid solutions are charged during the day time and enable consumers access sustainable electricity by reducing their reliance on costly and polluting alternatives like diesel generators during night time and outages.
