Colgate-Palmolive (India) zooms despite reporting marginal fall in Q4 net profit

Colgate-Palmolive (India) is currently trading at Rs. 1692.65, up by 66.35 points or 4.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 1626.30 on the BSE.

Colgate-Palmolive (India) has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2023.

The company has reported 2.27% marginal fall in its net profit at Rs 316.22 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 323.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company marginally increased by 4.64% at Rs 1370.98 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 1310.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported 2.89% marginal fall in its net profit at Rs 1047.14 crore as compared to Rs 1078.32 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 3.00% at Rs 5279.77 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5126.04 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
