The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 20.24 crore compared to net profit of Rs 23.83 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 58.58 per cent at Rs 92.27 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 222.74 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 51.37 per cent to Rs 87.80 crore from Rs 180.55 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 59.71 per cent at Rs 3.88 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 9.63 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 89.41 per cent to Rs 4.47 crore as against Rs 42.20 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 74.45 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 11.51 per cent y-o-y to Rs 33.89 crore, while Taxation decreased by 9.33 per cent at Rs -33.81 crore (Mar'20 Rs -37.29 crore).
