The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 52.08 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 43.02 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 21.06 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.69 per cent at Rs 438.68 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 431.37 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 3.25 per cent to Rs 356.27 crore from Rs 368.23 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 138.46 per cent at Rs 5.89 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 2.47 crore). Operating Profit surged by 30.50 per cent to Rs 82.41 crore as against Rs 63.15 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 28.35 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 10.14 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.52 crore, while Taxation increased by 65.16 per cent at Rs 21.19 crore (Mar'21 Rs 12.83 crore).
